Jellium at finite temperature using the restricted worm algorithm

چکیده
We study the Jellium model of Wigner at finite, non-zero, temperature through a computer simulation using canonical path integral worm algorithm where we successfully implemented fixed-nodes free particles restriction necessary to circumvent fermion sign problem. Our results show good agreement with recent data Brown et al. and other similar experiments on high density low temperature. can be used treat any quantum fluid fermions non zero, has never been before in literature.

Finite jellium models. I. Restricted Hartree-Fock calculations.
Restricted Hartree-Fock calculations have been performed on the Fermi configurations of n electrons confined within a cube. The self-consistent-field orbitals have been expanded in a basis of N particle-in-a-box wave functions. The difficult one- and two-electron integrals have been reduced to a small set of canonical integrals that are calculated accurately using quadrature. The total energy a...

Quarkonium at Finite Temperature
There was considerable interest in the properties and the fate of heavy quarkonium states at finite temperature since the famous conjecture by Matsui and Satz [1]. It has been argued that color screening in medium will lead to quarkonium dissociation above deconfinement, which in turn can signal quark gluon plasma formation in heavy ion collisions. The basic assumption behind the conjecture by ...

Lattice QCD studies on charmonium at finite temperature are presented After a discussion about problems for the Maximum Entropy Method applied to finite temperature lattice QCD, I show several results on charmonium spectral functions. The “wave function” of charmonium is also discussed to study the spatial correlation between quark and anti-quark in deconfinement phase.

We study charmoinum correlators and spectral functions at finite temperature within the quenched approximation using isotropic lattices with lattice spacing a−1 = 4.86 GeV and 9.72 GeV. Although we observe some medium modifications of the ground state charmonium spectral function above deconfinement, we find that ground state charmonia (J/ψ and ηc) exist in the deconfined phase at least up to t...
